I bought the Ikea sofa, but the white is making me go gray! I am planning another trip to Ikea to get the red corduroy cover so my kids can jump on the sofa. Sad eh?

This is great - when I was in school I had 2 textile chemistry classes (fashion design school... we did have to learn a *bit* of science), and my professors both told me that the best thing for getting stains out of most fabrics is tiny drop of liquid dish detergent (just like Dawn!) and a damp toothbrush... works like a charm!

I don't know. I just read about a new eco friendly coating for fabrics, I'll see if I can remember where I saw that.

I have two small kids and a dog and I have a white slipcovered sofa. There is no help for me!
I just wash it a lot! I'm contemplating buying a new corner sofa from Ikea with a white cover.
Does anyone have any comments about how that cover washes up? Thanks!

I know. I suffer with a cream loveseat and sofa. It's tough!
