Curbly Christmas - Santa by Committee

By benmoore

Hey Curbliers,

Merry Christmas!!  I hope Santa was good to you this year.

In true Curbly fashion, we'll decide the winner of the best Curbly Christmas wishlist from Amazon together.  Now that's the spirit!

We've narrowed the field, now you pick a winner!  This time, there's only one winner, so please just vote for one person in the comments.

Here are the five finalists:

A craft room to call my very own

Bring the Spring to my home

My first apartment list

List to start a craft library by

They're all good, but I vote for Elizabeth's A Painting a Month in 2007. Maybe the runners-up could get one thing on their lists.

I vote for "A painting a month" because I love Elizabeth's watercolors and am eager to see what she'd do with acrylic. But--but--I wish we could vote for more than one! These all sound like great, well-thought-out projects.

I vote for elizabeth perry's painting-a-month. Wouldn't it be great to see what she comes up with every thirty days? I'll be checking back in.

I vote for the "Bring the spring to my home",because the plants idea gives a natural feel. And it's a logic and complete project and really it has some ingenuity. First time to know that there are those nice tools for gardening. I might consider gettting some in the future.

I'm voting for a painting a month in 2007 - becuase that's me and I'm very excited to be a finalist!

Curbly is a community I'd like to find a way to give back to.  I'm already learning so much from people here.  Making a monthly commitment to share a painting (and the process of making it, and the process of deciding where to hang each one when it's done) would be a great way to explore resources in color, design, and DIY art.  I suspect that some spaces in my house would get rearranged or repainted in response to the colors of the paintings, too - so it would be a grand adventure.  I promise I will blog every step of the way, from comic disaster to giddy triumph - so if I am chosen, you can share the ride with me.

Thank you so much for considering me.

And a Happy and Creative New Year to everyone!

Elizabeth
