Push Pin Wall Art

By lilybee

A few packs of push pins, a pin board, a dash of inspiration (and possibly a little too much time on your hands at work) And Voila! Gloriously geeky wall art!

created on: 12/31/08

It's Mario. and push pins. and genius. Golf claps and whoop whoops to you, clever chaps at  the Student Computing Center at the University of the Fraser Valley.

Personally I just don't think I'd have the pushpin-application chops to do this freehand like these guys, but maybe some square lined paper would keep things from going wonky.

Have a peek at the close ups, they really are pretty awe-inspiringly » READ MORE

Cincinnati Condo

By Lumenvista

After a long three years I have finally moved into my completed Condo.  The developer had quite a few problems along the way, but they are finally on the way to completing the building.  There is still plenty to do with the building.  But my unit has been completed and I am completely moved in.  I did not get any upgrades to my place.  So all of the fixtures are standard.  My plan is to slowly make the space my own.  Doing my own » READ MORE

The lacy 'pret-a-porter' bottle looks even lovelier in person, and according to the man himself the delicate floral pattern depicts " The flowers of success... like snowy crystal garlands or frost frozen alpine flowers" (oooooh-kay). Blurb aside, they really are very pretty and when the water is gulched down I » READ MORE

BUILD IT - Dining Room Set from 3 Pieces of Plywood

By PlanCanvas

created on: 12/29/08

This furniture plan allows you to build 6 dining room chairs and a dining room table from three pieces of plywood.

Why spend over $1000 on a dining room set when you can build your own for a tenth the price?

These are very simple furniture plans to follow, and will easily replace that card table and fold up chairs you've been using for the last year.

Chair Size:

Width 17 3/4"
Depth 24 1/4"
Height 31 3/4"

Table Size:

Width 40"
