I'm a true Eclectic: When I was 12, visiting the home of friends of my mother's for the 1st time, I was overwhelmingly impacted by their unique sense of style. Every room of their house was decorated in a different design style and color scheme. I've never forgotten it, and I've wanted nothing else for my own home.
Necessesity is my mother of invention, and as such, I'm a DIY'r all the way. I'm a re-purpos'r who loves to find creatively unique ways to use ordinary objects. What I love about life is that it is all about the "do over." It ain't over 'til is over.
The last thing I purchased for a friend was a 6-pair set of various gardening gloves; everything from a simple but sturdy pair of planting gloves to a supple pair of goat-skin rose pruning gloves. She takes great pride (as well she should!) in her backyard garden and is invariably in need of decent gloves.
